In an emergency situation, easily identifiable routes of escape and clear instructions are required to be visible to assist employees, visitors and the general public in the safe evacuation of workplace/building. Escape Route signs incorporate a white pictogram in a green square or rectangle. Supplementary text, if required is white on a green background.
